Second location for Rowdy Beans Coffee Roasters. Owner is working through permitting process and has not given specific opening date yet. Sign is up at the location and they are planning to open this year.
Chilli’s Wings & Fish
Third location for the chain serving chicken wings, subs and fried fish. Owner found location in November and is working on construction and permits. Menu will include party wings, tenders, sandwiches and fried fish like catfish, perch and whiting.
Dockside Grille
Bar and grille concept coming to lakefront location at Cottage Grove Lake. Operated by hospitality professionals John Logsdon and Steve Baker through Radius Hospitality. Menu expected to include steak, pasta, fish dishes, plus beer, wine and cocktails.
Dragonfly Coffee
Mother and daughter team setting up new coffee trailer. Work is being done on the interior of the mobile coffee unit. Will serve coffee, matcha and refreshers.

New coffee shop concept coming to Evanston in 2026, serving classic coffee and snacks including espressos, cappuccinos, and baguettes. Owner traveled to Paris for inspiration. Will start selling at Winnetka Farmers Market in June before opening permanent location.

Family owned acai bowl shop with flavors of Brazil opening their first brick-and-mortar location after operating at farmers markets. Under construction in downtown Arlington Heights between jewelry and bridal shops.
Molino Los Hermanos
New Latin concept restaurant by chef Norman Fenton featuring volcanic stone mill and 24-seat restaurant with house-made tortillas. Focus on quesadillas with Mexican beers, wine and cocktails. Located next to his award-winning restaurant Carino.
Scooter’s Coffee
Nebraska-based coffee chain building new drive-thru location. Franchisee’s first location, construction is on schedule. Will serve coffee drinks, teas, lemonade, sandwiches, pastries and breakfast burritos.
The Addled Bunny
All-day gastropub featuring rabbit as main protein, including rabbit banh mi sandwich, fried chicken, cocktails and milk punches. Owner has beverage director experience and signed lease in January 2026.
Float Dirty Soda and Ice Cream
Retro dirty soda shop and ice cream concept from the team behind The Daily Grind in Burlington. Will feature vintage soda fountain atmosphere with modern dirty soda offerings, housemade syrups, complimentary popcorn, pretzel bites and cookies.
