Shore Restaurant

Shore Restaurant is reopening as part of a three-story mixed-use development in St. Armands Circle after being forced to close due to 2024’s hurricane season. The reimagined location will combine restaurant, café, and retail on lower levels with residential units or boutique hotel above.

Olive Garden

Olive Garden location making progress on opening by the Premium Outlet Mall in Ellenton. Plan review documents have been submitted by Olive Garden Holdings, LLC showing development moving forward after initial announcement two years ago.

Golf Social

Golf-focused hangout featuring state-of-the-art golf simulator equipment including Trackman simulator bays and Puttview augmented-reality putting tool, plus food and beverage program with bar-style eats, beer and wine. Available on membership and hourly basis.

Whataburger

Multiple Whataburger locations expanding throughout Tampa Bay region. Brandon location set to open in spring 2026, Lutz location in summer 2026. Additional locations planned in Bradenton at SeaFlower Village Center and Marketplace at Heritage Harbor. Total of 8 locations expected by end of 2027.

The Luce

The Luce is a new boutique hotel on St. Pete Beach offering chic accommodations, beachside dining and exclusive Marriott Bonvoy perks

Wahlburgers

Wahlburgers opening airport location at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport in February 2026, plus additional locations at Bass Pro Shops in Irvine, CA and Sayreville, NJ, and expanding food truck program at Home Depot locations

Grain & Berry

Fast-casual superfood cafe specializing in handcrafted bowls, smoothies, and healthy options. Franchisee Srikantkumar Patel was contacted but not immediately available to discuss opening plans.

Buddy Brew Coffee

Buddy Brew Coffee expanding with multiple locations inside Sprouts Farmers Markets. Three new locations planned in Riverview, Tampa, and Palm Harbor. Part of larger expansion of 10 new cafés across Tampa Bay and Southwest Florida.

Rreal Tacos

Atlanta-based street taco chain expanding to Tampa Bay with first location downtown. Company plans three total locations in Tampa Bay market and is investing $2.5 million in the former Haiku Tampa location.

DI Coffee Bar

Third location of DI Coffee Bar opening in Midtown Tampa at Tampa Electric building. Will feature full menu plus specialty items and more gluten-free options. Owner confirms they are moving forward with the location.
