21-story Marriott with 700 rooms, multiple restaurants, and sky bridge connecting to convention center. $543 million project with $50 million city loan approved.

Extended-stay hotel offering studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens, daily hot breakfast, pool, fitness center, and outdoor patio areas with grills. Part of Marriott’s TownePlace Suites brand focused on long-term travelers and business guests.

Marriott Hotel

Four-star convention headquarters hotel with roughly 700 rooms, more than 62,000 square feet of meeting space, 17,445 square-foot events terrace, multiple ballrooms, ground-floor retail, and outdoor terrace. Will connect to convention center via sky bridge. $543 million project.

Memorial Hall Boutique Hotel

Proposed $25 million redevelopment of Allen County Memorial Hall into a boutique hotel. Port Authority selected Argus Consulting as development services consultant. Project is in early feasibility stage with $3 million approved for design phase from $10 million state grant.

Nectar Cafe

Cafe inside an upcoming workspace as part of The Hive Hocking Hills project. Will be 2,800 square feet with back patio, large glass windows and brick foundations. Will include cafe, lounge, offices, workshop and garage.

Mikey’s Late Night Slice

Late-night pizza spot returning to Grandview Heights location, replacing Homefield bar. Owner hopes to debut by end of June 2026. Offers single-slice pizza including cheese with fresh basil, spicy pepperoni, and vegan options.

MTM Tavern

MTM Tavern (also known as Matt the Miller’s Tavern) is closing April 27 for renovations including interior redesigns and larger private party space, set to reopen around June 1

Rooster Joe Coffee

Second location of Coldwater-based coffee shop opening in partnership with Made Apparel at old Versailles firehouse. Demolition began last week, dual coffee shop and clothing store concept.

Franciscan Square Restaurant Complex

$5 million, two-story complex featuring five restaurants: Jamba, Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon, Buffalo Wild Wings Go, and Scooter’s Coffee. Will create 60 jobs. Scooter’s Coffee expected to open first with ribbon cutting planned for June.

Noble Beast Biergarten

Second Noble Beast location in Ohio City featuring lagers, European biergarten-inspired food, alpine cocktails, and a greenhouse for year-round dining. Owner describes it as a ‘low-key community gathering spot’.
