Sophie’s BBQ
Sophie’s BBQ is opening its Philadelphia debut location in Manayunk, partnering with Love City Brewing. The restaurant specializes in smoked meats and Southern-style comfort fare including BBQ sliders, brisket, pulled pork, and sides. This will be their second location after Havertown.
Bar Cicci
New Italian concept from High Street Hospitality Group led by James Beard Award winner Ellen Yin, set to open next to Uchi in Rittenhouse neighborhood. Will emphasize local purveyors and ethical sourcing.
Battle Royale Brewing Co.
Microbrewery and retro arcade owned by husband-and-wife duo. Will feature 10 vintage arcade games, 15 customer seats, 6-10 TVs with Nintendo Switch, beer/seltzers, and light snacks. Owners are actively building out the space themselves.
UNO Taqueria
Second location of family-run Mexican restaurant expanding from Lower Macungie Township. Features artisan street tacos, birria tacos, and authentic Mexican cuisine with indoor seating for 24 guests and seasonal outdoor patio dining.

Playa Bowls
Fruit bowl and smoothie chain opening first Lancaster County location in Wegmans-anchored shopping center. Offers customizable acai bowls, smoothies, juices and cold brew coffee with surf-inspired decor.
SMP Steaks
SMP Mini Mart is expanding with a sister location called SMP Steaks across from their original store. The new location will focus on steaks and help reduce wait times by dedicating one location to in-person dining and the other to phone/delivery orders. Currently in permitting stage.
Rick’s Tavern
Modern Italian restaurant by restaurateurs Rick and Gale Mahoney, taking over former Pizza Time Saloon space. Will feature pizza, homemade pasta, Italian dishes, and cocktails with racing theme. Two-level space accommodating 200 people total.
Stack’d Creamery & Burger Bar
New eatery combining ice cream and burgers, owned by young entrepreneur Gavin Binner who also operates Scoop O Dough food truck. Will serve Ripleigh’s ice cream, premium burgers, and feature a homemade sauce bar. Taking over former Ripleigh’s Creamery space.
