Plano-based quesadilla restaurant chain expanding to San Antonio as part of 2026 expansion. Founded by Kyle Gordon and Maggie Gordon in 2013. Currently has 10+ locations across North Texas and Louisiana. Still looking for the perfect location, with I-10 and 1604 area being preferred.
Calico Bar
New bar facility with approximately 11,798 square-feet including restrooms, seating area, dance floor, stage, and storage area. Second floor will contain 1,598 square-feet. $650,000 project with construction starting July 2026 and wrapping up in August 2026.
Hawaiian Bros Island Grill
Hawaiian Bros Island Grill fast-casual chain serving authentic Hawaiian plate lunches including Huli Huli Chicken and Kalua Pork. Construction starts mid-April and wraps up in July. Franchisee is William Marin.

Japanese izakaya focused on yakitori from Comma Hospitality team behind Neo, Kira, and Oru. Located in Arrive River Oaks shopping center, featuring grilled chicken skewers, curries, sandwiches, noodles and rice with prices ranging $5-30.

New Middle Eastern restaurant in East Austin’s Cherrywood neighborhood, led by chef Ale Kuri as partner and executive chef. From the team behind Suerte, Este, and Bar Toti. Menu will feature wood-fired pita, hummus, and charcoal-grilled kebabs with seasonal dishes.

North Carolina-based chicken chain planning to open Georgetown location, delayed from early 2026 to late 2026. Serves chicken, sandwiches, biscuits and sides.
