Korean-Italian fusion pasta bar by Nancy Silverton opening in Koreatown. Chef team McKenna Lelah and Matthew Kim will serve regional Italian dishes with Korean ingredients. Limited service starts January 28, full opening February 3.

Fine dining concept from Todd and Erica Kniess opening in former Hazel Restaurant space. Will feature prix-fixe menu and Russian River wines. Owners previously operated Acme Burger and Bistro Liaison.

Italian gelato brand planning new location inside Mission Valley Mall. Company has submitted documents to San Diego Department of Environmental Health and Quality. Will produce fresh gelato on-site using organic ingredients.
