Canada-based hot pot concept making U.S. debut at Burlington Mall. Interactive dining with chef-prepared hot pot, pork-free and Halal-friendly menu with 100+ ingredients and 10 soup bases. Plans approved through Minor Engineering Change process.
Boost Coffee & Energy
New coffee drive-thru concept offering energy drinks, protein lattes, refreshers, protein shakes, smoothies, coffee, teas, and snacks. First location in Jacksonville with additional locations planned in the area.
Pep’s Backyard
Entertainment eatery featuring family-friendly and pet-friendly environment with live music, 26ft screen, 20+ TVs, kid zones, dog park, 21+ rooftop, 30 taps, frozen drinks and cocktails. Construction started October 2025 and expected to wrap up by July 2026.
Spanish Village
Spanish Village, a Houston Tex-Mex restaurant staple since the 1950s that closed in 2023, is planned to reopen or return as a similar concept on the second floor of a new mixed-use development called Alameda Village in Houston’s Third Ward. Owner awaiting funding to begin construction.
Bussia Cucina Italiana
New Italian restaurant concept opening in Shops at Arrive River Oaks. $400,000 construction project for 3,286 square-foot space. Owner Fabrizio Paletta also owns Pane e Vino Ristorante Italiano. Construction expected to start July 2026 and finish mid-January 2027.
Carlo
Two new Italian concepts from Brasserie 19 owner Charles Clark. Carlo is the casual concept opening at 1830 Westheimer by September, while Casa Carlo is the more refined concept opening at 1834 Westheimer by November. Both will feature pastas, pizzas, and tableside dishes, paying homage to the former Paulie’s restaurant.
Kula
Small-scale restaurant and wine bar with 12 seats, sharing building with Beara Bakes. Menu will feature smaller plates with flavors of Eastern Italy, Balkan countries and North Africa, with rotating limited menu and intentional wine selections.
Aperitivo
New cocktail and wine bar described as an ‘after work destination’ serving wine, light beer and spirits. The concept focuses on aperitivo-style drinks (pre-meal, lower-alcohol beverages). Space is 1,000 square feet with new patio and possible food truck addition.
Travola Mia
Italian brunch and dinner restaurant replacing The Bronze Door, focusing on Italian seafood dishes, pizza, and brunch items. Construction is finishing up inside to prepare for opening.
Spiedo
Mediterranean restaurant Spiedo is opening a second location in Detroit’s Midtown neighborhood, replacing Jolly Pumpkin Taphouse. The restaurant serves fast-casual Mediterranean options including flatbread sandwiches, rice bowls, and small plates. Owner Brad Greenhill also operates Takoi restaurant.
