Kaia Bowls franchise planning new location in Lutz retail center. Paperwork submitted by Brook & Grace Enterprise, LLC shows plans for the location. Owners operate five existing locations in Tampa Bay area.

Drift Bar

New bar opening at the Sundial shopping complex, headed by the team behind Forbici Modern Italian. Will serve as the courtyard bar for the complex. Project moving forward after lawsuit resolution.

Mi Tierra Restaurant

Authentic Dominican cuisine restaurant with plan review documents submitted, featuring sandwiches, hamburgers, Cuban sandwiches and club sandwiches. Opening timeline still under wraps.

Extreme Pizza

California-based pizza chain opening first Florida location in Heritage Harbour plaza. Features signature gourmet pizzas, bar, outdoor patio seating up to 50 diners, and chef-inspired Mediterranean dishes. Locally owned franchise.

Raising Cane’s

Multiple Raising Cane’s locations planned across Florida including Largo, Pensacola, Brandon, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Melbourne, and Fort Myers. Most are in permit-approval stage with no opening dates announced.

Sushi Alive

Second location of Japanese restaurant Sushi Alive opening in a 6,000-square-foot building that previously housed Tampa Joe’s sports bar. Co-owners purchased the building in March and are planning renovations.

Nah Dogs

Vegan hot dog restaurant moving from food cart to first brick-and-mortar location. Founded by Jeff and Jenny Howe in 2019, won Best Food Pop-Up award two years in a row.

Farmers Milk

New restaurant opening in newly developed retail center within Halter Loop. Project submitted by Gastro Family RR Company. Food offerings unclear but expected to include dairy items, possibly ice cream.

Hail Mary Social Club

Dual-experience sports bar by day and high-energy social club by night, located in the historic Franklin Building in Tampa Heights. First-floor anchor of reimagined Franklin Building.
