The Naked Farmer
Farm-to-table New American restaurant chain expanding to Wesley Chapel location, coming early 2027. Details on the specific location have yet to be announced.
La Victoria
Mexican restaurant opening in downtown Tampa, replacing former Melting Pot Social in 3,800-square-foot space at Ave Tampa Riverwalk apartment complex. Owner partnering with the Meza family who operates three Mexican restaurants. Expected to employ about 60 people at full operation.
V Modern Italian
Elevated-yet-accessible Italian restaurant making Tampa debut this summer. Part of Fast Fine Restaurant Group with locations in Nashville and Charleston. Features antipasti, fresh made pastas, main courses and wood fired elements with modern interpretation of classic Italian cuisine.
Amaya Modern Mexican
Clique Hospitality may be bringing their Amaya Modern Mexican concept to Tampa as part of the Pendry Tampa hotel project. Plan review documents show Amaya Mexican Restaurant at the Pendry address. The concept already exists in Las Vegas and features modern Mexican cuisine with fresh seafood, grilled meats, and agave-forward cocktails.
Howard & Platt
Full-service restaurant and bar opening in the former TC Choy’s building. Interior buildout currently underway in 6,325 SF space, will include exterior dining space. Operated by Disser Hospitality Investment.

Independent bookshop focused on fiction with a lounge serving beer, wine, and mocktails. Owners are Kate and Ben Johnson. Features Curious Elixirs mocktails and local Tampa Bay area beers.

Zaxby’s chicken restaurant under construction in Davenport, adjacent to existing Publix. Has broken ground but no opening date announced yet.

Fast-casual Greek chain expanding to Dunedin location, will be restaurant number 18 for The Hungry Greek network. Features authentic Greek family recipes prepared from scratch.
