438-room, 14-story hotel development approved by BPDA. Will offer moderate room rates near Menino Convention and Exhibition Center. Developer is DGH Hotel Partners. Hotel brand not yet selected.

Third-party hotels on Wynn property

One or two third-party hotels with up to 800 hotel rooms total on Wynn-owned property along Lower Broadway. Part of casino district expansion without gambling element. Still needs Planning Board approval.

Wynn Hotels at Encore Boston Harbor

Two new hotels with approximately 800 rooms total on Wynn-owned property across from Encore Boston Harbor. Hotels will not include gaming but will generate revenue through property taxes, hotel room occupancy taxes and meals taxes. Expected to generate nearly $12 million in annual revenue for the city.

Encore Boston Harbor Hotel Expansion

Up to two new hotels planned on Wynn Resorts property adjacent to Encore Boston Harbor casino. No gambling at the new hotels. Part of expansion agreement that includes $25 million for potential Commuter Rail stop.

MEZŌ Mediterranean

Modern Mediterranean ‘fast-fine’ concept celebrating modern Greek cuisine opening in historic Dedham Square. 25-seat intimate space with grab-and-go section. Owned by local restaurateur behind 50-year-old Dedham House of Pizza.

Jejes Coffee

Jejes Coffee is expanding from Wellesley to open a second location in Boston’s Seaport District. The kosher coffee shop specializes in high-quality specialty beans roasted in-house, with no flavored syrups. Construction delays have pushed the opening to sometime in 2027.

Citrus & Salt

Chef Jason Santos is opening a second location of his Baja-inspired Mexican restaurant in the former Osteria Nino space. Plans call for a full transformation of the 6,000-square-foot space with 170 indoor seats and 70 patio seats. Burlington’s Planning Board will review the project at its February 5 hearing.

Blank Street Coffee

Tech-savvy coffee chain preparing to open new café in Downtown Crossing. Signage already spotted at location. Chain known for matcha green branding and inventive latte flavors.

New Concept (replacing Uno Mas Taco & Tequila Bar)

Uno Mas Taco & Tequila Bar closed December 20, 2025 to reopen in the new year with a new concept. Founded by Evan Harrington, Nick Palermo, and Michael Johnson who also own Liberty Tavern in Quincy. Specific concept details not yet revealed.

C’Yool Yemeni Coffee & Bakery

Yemeni café and bakery taking over former Atlántico space, led by Ahmed Mahmood (owner of Bab Al-Yemen). Features onsite coffee roasting, wood-fired oven for traditional breads, seating for 115 guests. Menu includes qishr, Yemeni mountain coffees, sabayah, honeycomb bread, and customizable manakeesh.
