Restaurant by Moontower Group planned for The Roundabout mixed-use development in Buda. Details have yet to be revealed. Same group behind Moontower Saloon and Nate’s Coffee and Cocktails.
Schafer’s Coastal Kitchen
New seafood restaurant from creators of Schafer’s Coastal Bar & Grille taking over former Luby’s Cafeteria space. Will feature Gulf Coast seafood, 40-seat oval bar, craft cocktails, wine selections, and private dining rooms. Expected to create 125+ local jobs.
Van Leeuwen Ice Cream
Van Leeuwen Ice Cream’s fourth Houston location opening at The Swift Building. French-style ice cream shop with creative seasonal flavors and vegan options. Construction expected to start in June and wrap up by September for fall opening. Will occupy approximately 1,300 square feet with historical interior elements.
Pluckers Wing Bar
Texas wing brand expanding to Baytown location. Construction slated to start in June and wrap up by end of January 2027. Permit recently filed for the new location.
Table Seven Steakhouse
New steakhouse opening in Kings Harbor, owned by Texas restaurateur Mario Cediel working with Siete Family Enterprises LLC. Construction slated to start in April and wrap up end of October for fall opening.
Leemoo Health Bar
Health bar and wellness brand specializing in additive-free smoothies, açaí bowls, and cold-pressed juices. This will be their third location in Houston, opening in The Swift Building in The Heights neighborhood.
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams
Ice cream scoop shop opening at The Shop at La Cantera. 190-square-foot space in renovated food and beverage kiosk. Construction starts beginning of April and wraps up before end of May. Part of chain with 85+ locations across 15 states.
Missick Cellars
Missick Cellars winery pour house opening in Boerne, run by Chris and Laure Missick. Will offer white and sparkling wines sourced from their Finger Lakes winery plus Texas wines. Chris Missick is a two-decade winemaker who has produced dozens of 90+ wines.
Dirty Dough
Cookie brand opening in Arcadia Grove Shopping Center. Construction starts mid-April, wraps by July with summer opening. Marcus Sailler is the franchisee. Specializes in stuffed cookies with unique flavors and gooey texture.
Little Caesars
Little Caesars pizza chain location opening in Leon Valley, operated by Texas-based franchise group Harmony Brother LLC. Construction scheduled to start end of March 2026 and complete end of September 2026. Would be the first Little Caesars location in the Leon Valley area.
