Original Burger Boy location reopening after fire damage in August 2025. Construction appears complete and grand reopening date to be announced very soon.

Family-owned barbecue restaurant moving to new location after 63 years. Renovation expected to be complete by end of May 2026. Serves slow-smoked brisket, ribs, sausage, turkey, and homestyle sides.

El Hawa plans to open a new Trump Burger location in Tomball after being released from ICE custody

Waffle House

Waffle House opening five new locations in Montgomery County, Texas between June and December 2027. First location on FM 1485 in New Caney opening in June, followed by locations in Conroe, Porter, Kingwood, and Splendora.

1 Hotel Austin

Part of Starwood Hotels’ selective growth plan for their 1 Hotels eco-brand. Company plans 4-5 openings per year with focus on unique legacy assets in premier locations.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Houston

45-story Ritz-Carlton condo-hotel tower combining 156-room hotel with 112 condos. Will be 605 feet tall with 35,000 sq ft of restaurants, 15,000 sq ft ballroom, and extensive amenities. First Ritz-Carlton hotel within Houston city limits.

COTA Resort

1,000+ room, 250-foot hotel with lazy river at Circuit of the Americas. Part of $925 million project by RIDA Development that includes convention center with hundreds of thousands of square feet of exhibit space, golf course and driving range. Expected to create hundreds of jobs and generate $10 billion in economic activity over 30 years.

Crossroads District Hotels

Two hotel sites planned as part of the 34-acre Crossroads District mixed-use development. Project includes 535 multifamily units and commercial space. Development agreement and zoning approval needed before construction begins.

Holly Wu

Second location of Holly Wu restaurant concept by Chef Ling Qi Wu, planned for West Sixth Street in Austin. Named for the chef’s daughter Holly, described as a more accessible expression of the family’s food. First location in Cedar Park expected to open fall 2026.

Starbird Chicken

Bay Area-based fast-casual chicken franchise signing 36-unit agreement to expand to Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. Premium fast-casual brand featuring signature crispy chicken with Japanese BBQ lineup.
