Cookie bakery chain expanding to Alamo Heights location in Arcadia Grove Shopping Center. Known for gooey cookies with various fillings and mix-ins, plus cinnamon rolls, brownies, and dirty sodas. Construction expected to wrap up in early July with opening likely by end of year.
Taco Bell
New Taco Bell location approved for 3209 Shannon Ave in Beaumont. Property was rezoned from residential to commercial in November 2025 and received Specific Use Permit approval. Construction details include 6-foot landscaping buffer on western edge.

Marriott TownePlace Suites extended stay hotel with more than 90 rooms planned behind Buffalo Wild Wings in Garden District Shopping Village. City Council approved special use permit despite property dispute over access easement.

$3.15 million extended-stay hotel spanning 63,202 square feet. Features studio and one-bedroom suites with kitchenettes, saline pools, fitness/laundry centers, and pet-friendly amenities.
Monarch Hotel
Luxury hotel owned by Zachry Hospitality, has hired about 75% of its staff and recently announced executive chef for two restaurants. Offering wages between $16-29/hour for hourly workers with benefits, free parking/bus passes, and paid time off from day one.
The Market at Mueller
New market/restaurant opening at The Concourse at Mueller with $145,000 interior finish-out. Construction expected to run from April 6 to November 10. Owner declined to provide details at this time.
Whataburger
Whataburger location undergoing $2 million renovation of 6,000-square-foot building, parking lot and landscape. Originally estimated 5 months for completion, now expected to reopen in late May or early June 2026.

Vietnamese and Southeast Asian restaurant expanding from Austin to Leander. Features customizable bowls, bánh mì sandwiches, teas, and Vietnamese coffee. Construction scheduled from March 16 to August 17, 2026.
