Vancouver’s first cat cafe offering locally-sourced coffee, tea, and snacks with adoptable cats. Mission includes supporting cat adoptions and developing programs for children with autism and seniors.

Gasworks Brewing

Gasworks Brewing is expanding to SoDo with a new 15,000 square foot production facility and taproom featuring a 20-barrel brewhouse, 4,000-square-foot taproom with outdoor patio, event space and golf simulator. Taking over former Seattle Cider space.

Brunch, Bliss & Bubbles

Second location of brunch restaurant featuring sweet and savory brunch fare with elevated comfort dishes. Pink-themed restaurant with cocktail flights and customizable drinks. Liquor license recently approved.

Pendino

Neapolitan pizza and craft cocktail bar founded by Corey Silversmith. Features slow-fermented dough pizzas with fresh mozzarella and San Marzano tomatoes, plus cocktails with fresh citrus flavors. Liquor license recently approved.

Tendon Kohaku

Japanese tempura restaurant specializing in tendon (tempura rice bowls). Second location joining flagship in Bellevue. Recently approved for liquor license. Offers Japanese beers, cocktails, and sake selections.

Wheat Head on the Water

Wheat Head Brewing Co. is opening a new taproom and patio on the Kennewick downtown waterfront at Columbia Gardens. It’s a taproom only, not serving food, but encouraging guests to buy from nearby Swampy’s BBQ and food trucks.

Voodoo Doughnut

Portland-based doughnut shop expanding to Tacoma. Will be third Puget Sound area location. Construction has not yet begun but plans call for full interior buildout with permits for signage, mural and exterior upgrades.

Bar under new ownership set to reopen after renovations while preserving character and memorabilia. Liquor license recently approved and currently hiring kitchen staff.

Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice Cream

Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice Cream is opening its first Kirkland location in a 1,400-square-foot space. This will be the brand’s 12th store. The ice cream shop focuses on locally sourced ingredients from the Pacific Northwest and supports community nonprofits.
