Harding House Brew is making a comeback after shuttering their taproom on 51st Ave. in 2024. They plan to open in a new brick-and-mortar space at L & L Market. Known for farm-to-table beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails and food with emphasis on local offerings and seasonal brewing.

Boka Restaurant Group’s new whiskey-focused concept in Wedgewood-Houston, designed as a connecting space between Alla Vita and Momotaro. Features Tennessee whiskey traditions, Nashville-inspired cocktails, and seats 83 guests.
Second Line
Memphis institution Second Line is relocating to a new location next to Restaurant Iris in Laurelwood Shopping Center. The restaurant will maintain its New Orleans charm with some menu changes including healthier options and an improved kids’ menu. Po’ boys will remain the centerpiece.
El Agave
Mississippi-based Mexican restaurant chain expanding to Memphis, taking over long-vacant San Diego Cantina space. Co-owner hopeful to open by Cinco de Mayo. Certificate of occupancy under review. Chain has 6 existing locations in Mississippi and Alabama.
Tulips Restaurant and Bar
Indian-Mexican fusion restaurant with upscale atmosphere, curated cocktails, live music, and elegant outdoor seating. 5,600 square feet with occupant load of 188. Recently acquired commercial mechanical permit on March 11.
Lost Art Cocktail Bar
Craft cocktail bar with emphasis on hospitality, occupying 3,900 square foot space. Will serve craft cocktails and approachable menu items.
Tommy’s Burgers California Style
Tommy’s Burgers California Style is preparing to open their third location in a former Wendy’s space. The restaurant will serve burgers, Mexican food, breakfast platters and lunch sandwiches. Certificate of occupancy has been filed.
Ayva
Turkish restaurant to be opened by the Ülker brothers (Cem and Selim), who currently operate Kardes Turkish Grill & Bar. Ayva is Turkish for quince.
Bandos
Burger and wing joint relocating from Thomas Street to new 1,836 square foot location on Poplar Avenue. Menu features wings, burgers, fries, tacos, nachos, and Memphis Philly items.
Dog & Bone
British pub concept opening in Overton Square, 1,760 square foot space. Owners Steve Minter and Jay Bauder plan to offer traditional British and American food, UK/European/US beers, cocktails, wine and spirits. Features sports viewing, music, and beer garden patio.
